<p>The Mine Surveyor&rsquo;s responsibilities include: provide quality reconciliations, establishment of survey standards and provide geotechnical monitoring of pit walls, waste dumps and sedimentation ponds. </p>
<p>The ideal candidate will possess a Technical diploma in surveying or a combination of a similar field and related work experience. You must be conversant with mine planning software AutoCAD and possess excellent people management skills. New Graduates are welcome to apply.&nbsp; This experience should include previous quantity reconciliation, ability to work in extreme weather conditions, precision survey work, and a demonstrated ability to work in a small dedicated team. Above all, you will be able to share your surveying knowledge within the engineering department to ensure the operational goals are delivered. </p>

You will have a minimum of five (5) years supervisory or lead-hand experience in Heavy Mining Industry or similar.&nbsp; This experience should include mobile maintenance supervisor or lead-hand; organizing individuals and work teams to perform tasks as outlined in maintenance plan; working with different maintenance disciplines to achieve department goals in Key Performance Indicators.&nbsp; Supervisory experience in a unionized environment is an asset.</p>

We are currently looking for an <strong>HME Electrician </strong>to work at the TREND Mine Site - Tumbler Ridge. This position will report directly to the Electrical Coordinator. The HME Electrician is responsible to provide support to line personnel through completing and supporting maintenance planning and scheduling on the Trend Mine. </p>
<p>To be successful in this role you will have be Certified Provincial Trades qualification.&nbsp; You should have a minimum five (5) years experience in Heavy Mining Industry of similar setting.&nbsp; This experience should include Heavy Equipment Electrical Maintenance on equipment such as; Excavators, Haul Trucks, Drills, Dozers, Loaders and Graders.&nbsp; Able to work on various ac/dc voltages.<br />&nbsp;<br />Candidates will be paid $33.85 to $37.21, with either a 7 on and 7 off or a 14 on and 14 off shift rotation. </p>
<p>An attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience will be offered to the successful applicant.&nbsp; The Company operates a non-contractual incentive bonus scheme, the payment and level of which are discretionary.</p>

<p>Location: Tumbler Ridge, BC</p>
<p><strong><br />Peace River Coal Inc. </strong>(PRC) is a subsidiary of the Anglo American PLC Group located in North East BC.&nbsp; We are currently accepting resumes for the position of <strong>Exploration Geoscientist</strong>.<br /><br />The Exploration Geoscientist reports to the Exploration Manager and is responsible for providing geological support to PRC&rsquo;s Exploration group. This will include the ongoing drilling programs and assisting to develop and maintain geological databases and geological modelling of the company&rsquo;s coal deposits. </p>
<p>The role will also involve field work, supervision of field exploration teams, liaison with contractors providing services to the exploration project, mapping, interpretation of geological structures and coal quality data, geophysical logs, bulk sample logs, and other geological data. It will also include administrative duties and compliance to all safety, health, environmental and regulatory requirements.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have 2 years previous experience working with the principles of exploration and resource and reserve evaluations. Experience in coal would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite. Experience should also include familiarity and experience with borehole geophysical logging systems for coal exploration, a good understanding of exploration of SHEC, strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills with a strong ability to disseminate geological knowledge, as well as a proven ability to work as a member of a team. </p>
<p>The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or Earth Science. All applicants should be registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia is preferred as well as a valid driver&rsquo;s licence. </p>

<p>To be successful in this role you will be a Certified Provincial Trades qualification with previous Industrial experience.&nbsp; You will be able to read and work from drawings and instructions manual, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery in a timely and efficient manner.</p>
<p>Candidates will be paid $33.85 to $37.21, with either a 7 on and 7 off or a 14 on and 14 off shift rotation. Peace River Coal does not have a camp location.</p>
