The qualified Reliability Engineer will be responsible for monitoring maintenance systems and standards to predictably deliver and sustain the required asset performance and cost objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Implement and deliver reliability focused systems and training
• Ownership of the Defect Elimination process
   o  TCO process;
   o  Preventative Maintenance Optimisation process; and
   o  Non Destructive Testing (NDT) data systems and strategies
• Advise on and review maintenance standards and procedures


Qualifications Requires:
• Minimum 5 years experience in trades/engineering
• Supervisor experience
• Knowledge of:
  o  Maintenance Work Control process and requirements
  o  Maintenance KPI’s and reporting
  o  Downtime reporting systems
  o  Business reporting systems
• Graduate qualified in maintenance management preferred

• Check coal seam and borehole survey data

• Data management for mine geology or exploration drilling including entry, validation, integrity and storage of data
• Generating and updating of maps in Arc GIS or AutoCAD and ensure proper data storage and housekeeping

• Development and monitoring of standards and procedures

Requirements

This position will report directly to the Electrical Coordinator. The HME Electrician is responsible to provide support to line personnel through completing and supporting maintenance planning and scheduling on the Trend Mine.

To be successful in this role you will have be Certified Provincial Trades qualification.  You should have a minimum five (5) years experience in Heavy Mining Industry of similar setting.  This experience should include Heavy Equipment Electrical Maintenance on equipment such as; Excavators, Haul Trucks, Drills, Dozers, Loaders and Graders.  Able to work on various ac/dc voltages.
 
Candidates will be paid $33.85 to $37.21, with either a 7 on and 7 off or a 14 on and 14 off shift rotation.

Peace River Coal Inc. (PRC) is a subsidiary of the Anglo American PLC Group located in North East BC.  We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Exploration Geoscientist.

The Exploration Geoscientist reports to the Exploration Manager and is responsible for providing geological support to PRC’s Exploration group. This will include the ongoing drilling programs and assisting to develop and maintain geological databases and geological modelling of the company’s coal deposits.

The role will also involve field work, supervision of field exploration teams, liaison with contractors providing services to the exploration project, mapping, interpretation of geological structures and coal quality data, geophysical logs, bulk sample logs, and other geological data. It will also include administrative duties and compliance to all safety, health, environmental and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years previous experience working with the principles of exploration and resource and reserve evaluations. Experience in coal would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite. Experience should also include familiarity and experience with borehole geophysical logging systems for coal exploration, a good understanding of exploration of SHEC, strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills with a strong ability to disseminate geological knowledge, as well as a proven ability to work as a member of a team.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or Earth Science. All applicants should be registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia is preferred as well as a valid driver’s licence.

Candidates must be prepared to work a 6 x 6 schedule, 12 hour shift within a collective bargaining unit. This position is paid hourly.

Minimum 2 years experience in operating excavators within large scale open pit operations. Candidate should have the ability to meticulously load coal in order to minimize coal loss. Equipment to be operated 385 Excavator.  Assets include First aid certificate and surface mine rescue certificate.

This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Industrial Millwright is responsible to complete preventive maintenance tasks as per schedules and assignments by Maintenance Supervisor.  They will assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing operating problems for all plant and rail loadout equipment. 

To be successful in this role you will be a Certified Provincial Trades qualification with previous Industrial experience.  You will be able to read and work from drawings and instructions manual, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery in a timely and efficient manner.

Candidates will be paid $33.85 to $37.21, with either a 7 on and 7 off or a 14 on and 14 off shift rotation. Peace River Coal does not have a camp location.

The Industrial Electirican is responsible for the day to day electrical activities of the Trend Mine, this includes PRC controls, troubleshooting, reading blue prints and schematics.

To be successful in this role you will be a Journeyman Electrician with previous Industrial experience.  You must be able to read blue prints and schematics and be proficient in construction and maintenance including motor control.  You must be aware of and adhere to Canadian electrical controls and standards.
