Reliability Engineer
Location: Tumbler Ridge, BC
Peace River Coal Inc. is a subsidiary of the Anglo American plc group. We are currently looking for a Reliability Engineer to work at the TREND Mine Site - Tumbler Ridge. This position will report directly to the Planning and Engineering Superintendent. The qualified Reliability Engineer will be responsible for monitoring maintenance systems and standards to predictably deliver and sustain the required asset performance and cost objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and deliver reliability focused systems and training
• Ownership of the Defect Elimination process
o TCO process;
o Preventative Maintenance Optimisation process; and
o Non Destructive Testing (NDT) data systems and strategies
• Advise on and review maintenance standards and procedures
Qualifications Requires:
• Minimum 5 years experience in trades/engineering
• Supervisor experience
• Knowledge of:
o Maintenance Work Control process and requirements
o Maintenance KPI’s and reporting
o Downtime reporting systems
o Business reporting systems
• Graduate qualified in maintenance management preferred
• Graduate qualifications in NDT or Condition Monitoring
This position is paid Salary.
The Company operates a non-contractual incentive bonus scheme, the payment and level of which are discretionary.
